Where Can I Serve?
Ministry Opportunities
Jesus told us to make disciples of all nations. We believe our mission to the world begins in our own community and spreads overseas to every nation. Mineral Heights members are involved in a variety of ministry opportunities from things as simple as cleaning the church or maintaining the grounds to Thursday night visitation.
Missions Outreach
Mineral Heights is thrilled to be part of Faith Promise Missions, sharing the Gospel of Jesus around the world. We are active in training and sending out missionaries from our church, as well as, supporting about 30 missionaries world wide. At times, a volunteer mission team from our church travels to one of our missionaries to assist them in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they minister in a foreign country or minister in our own community.
Music
We strive for God-honoring music. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play instruments while some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Mineral Heights Baptist Church using their talents and gifts to glorify God and bless the services.

Media & Technology
In an age of advancing technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools for God’s purposes. Sunday sermons are recorded and uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. People are needed to man the camera, sound system, and video projector for services. We also maintain a Facebook page for additional church communication.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Mineral Heights Baptist Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty. Before the Bible study each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and bringing our petitions to the Lord from our weekly prayer list. Every one in the church can and should be involved in praying for the ministry of the church, its pastor, and the needs of others.
