Stephen was born and raised in a pastor’s home in Irmo, SC. He had the privilege of participating in a wide variety of ministry opportunities, and church music quickly became one of his passions. In 2000, Stephen graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Ministry of Music degree and then returned home and served as a lay person in his dad’s church as song leader, choir director, and Sunday school teacher. In 2006, Stephen married Ronda, and they were involved in ministry at several churches in the Atlanta area. In 2008, Stephen’s employer transferred him to Dallas, TX; and they joined Mineral Heights. It is his desire to build a vibrant music ministry where people are empowered to use their gifts for the glory of God. Stephen strives to use a conservative, balanced mix of classic hymns, gospel songs, choruses, and stirring anthems that allow for the body of Christ to be edified, to worship their Savior, and to be prepared to receive the preaching of the Word of God.
